First Blog

My first official blog!

I'm listening to this band called "The New Amsterdams" lately. They are an indie band. I think their songs are listenable for every taste. I learned about them from a One Tree Hill episode title. :) Here are their songs that I listened.

- Are You True? (The album which features this song got 4/5 from Rolling Stones. And I think it's a pretty good song.)

- Hanging On For Hope (Yes, my blog's name comes from this song. :) I really really liked it. It's just beautiful.)

Hello!

I've never had a blog before, so I don't know what to do but I'm really excited right now! Ok.

I'm Dilara and I'm 17. I've just finished high school and I'm at a point in my life where I have no idea what to become.

I love music by music I mean rock and indie bands, and a little country lately. I try to explore new music as much as. And I must say I really care about the lyrics. Music is a passion for me. I'm not anything good that knows everything but actually, I want to be that person who knows every little thing in music. For me music is a saver from anything and it is the only thing that will be with you no matter what.

Speaking of savers, I love quotes. To me they are so precious, they help me so much through anything.

Oh and one more thing about me, I'm really into movies and tv shows. They make me who I am. I know this sounds cheesy but I learn from them. I learn how to behave or how to get past an upsetting situation. The OC, One Tree Hill, Friends are my favorites.
